Questions & Answers

What happens after my 1 year license expires?
You keep using the version you had at expiry, forever. You won’t receive new updates unless you renew. LTD gets free updates for life!
Does MacMon need admin access?
Yep, on install the wizard will walk you through how to set it up! MacMon uses a lightweight privileged helper (via SMAppService) for accurate powermetrics data. You approve this once in System Settings so we can track every apps power draw down to the tiniest of details.
How does process-level attribution work?
MacMon combines macOS powermetrics data with resource usage sampling to attribute power draw to each process, including CPU, GPU, disk, and network components, no more random 'GPU Helper' items
Will it slow down my Mac?
No. MacMon is written in native swift uses less than 200 Mb of ram a tiny amount of CPU in the background. The sampling daemon is designed to be invisible in your workflow.
Can I use it on multiple Macs?
Each license supports activation on up to 2 Macs. You can deactivate and move your license at any time.
What is your refund policy?
No refund under any circumstances. Use the free trial to try it out yourself, once purchased its yours forever.
What is an LTD?
A life time deal, meaning you get to have the current app + all future updates for the rest of your life!
* - "< 1% BG CPU overhead"
Average usage Tested on an Macbook Pro M1 Max, slower laptops might require a bit more background CPU usage, additionaly the details view with all the charts is obviously heavier than the background CPU usage when its just monitoring your usage.

Stop guessing. Start knowing.
